Fractions

Improper Fraction is a fraction with the numerator GREATER than the denominator.
Mixed Number  is a number made up of a whole number with a fraction next to it.

How to convert an Improper Fraction to Mixed Number:
1. Count each shaded part of the shapes and write them as fractions.
2. Divide the numerator (top) with the denominator (bottom)
3. Write the whole number as a whole and the remainder as the numerator with the same denominator.

Example: 10/3 = 3 1/3
