Discuss why there are three colors known as primary colors.
Create color mixing activity during art for kids to understand better.

The primary colors are used in creating all other colors.
These three colors are unable to be created by mixing other colors.

Science - States of Matter Solid, Liquid & Gas

States of matter

Materials around us comes in three different forms solidliquid and gas, which we classify as states of matter.

Solid has a fixed volume and shape.
Example: ice blocks, cars, books, tables and computers

Liquid adapts to the shape of its container.
Example: water, oil, tea and blood

Gas expands to occupy the volume and shape of its container.
Example: the air we breathe, the cooking gas

Have a go at answering the worksheet by choosing the states of matter to match the pictures.

Here is a video on states of matter, enjoy watching!

Parts of a plant & Lifecycle of The Sunflower

Plants have typically six parts which are roots, stems, leaves, flowers, fruits and seeds.

Roots absorb water and minerals from the soil and helps to hold the plant to the ground so the plant does not fall.

Stems are strong part that holds the plant upright. It allows water, nutrients to flow to the leaves.

Leaves of a plant helps to collect sunlight and most important of all they help to make food for the plant.  They come in many shapes and sizes.

Flowers are useful because they make fruit and seeds for the plant. Flowers are always beautiful so that they can attract other insects such as bees and birds.

Fruits are the part of plants that protects seeds. The seeds are moved to places by animals that eat the fruits.

Seeds are very important as they help the plant to reproduce as they grow into a new plant.

This worksheet help kids to identify the different parts of a plant by matching the names of the parts to the pictures.
Then organize the life cycle of sunflower by typing the numbers in order of growth.

Science - Living and Non-Living Things

Living and Non-living

All living things can breathe, eat, grow, move and have senses.
Living things are alive and they need water, food, air and sunlight to live.
Examples: people, plants, animals

All non-living things do not breathe, eat, grow, move or have senses.
Non-living things are never alive.
Examples: things, rocks, water

Look around your surroundings then classify things into living and non-living things.

This live worksheet help kids to identify livng and non-living things, drag and drop them into groups where they belong to.

Science - Our Five Senses

Human body: Five senses

Our five senses help us with hearing, tasting, smelling, seeing and touching.
We hear with our ears.
We taste with our tongue.
We smell with our nose.
We see with our eyes.
We feel or touch with our hands.

This worksheet helps kid to identify the senses and their parts.
Listen to the audio and then match to the correct senses.
